SMART (Synbio Modeling and Ai Research Team)

• We are a group of high school students, undergraduates, and graduate students who are interested in modeling and AI.

•   We meet weekly via zoom to study topics in Synthetic Biology and Biomanufacturing.

• We use AI and modeling tools to solve biological problems. 

Project 1:  The use of Large Lanuage Models (LLMs) to study Bioprocess Engineering courses.

Project 2: The use of GPT4o to extract data from bioenigneering papers.

Project 3: Comparison of different LLMs performance for knowledge synthesis.
